Sascha needed a good result in the Verbier Xtreme final round of the Freeride World Tour in order to get on the podium for the overall tour results. He put in an incredibly fast run taking a very difficult line. Despite a fall he still managed to get enough points thanks to his speed (hitting almost 80kmph) and technicality. This gave him a third place finish, his second podium of the tour and a place on the overall podium. A third in Verbier equalled the achievement of James Stentiford, but a 3rd overall makes it the best finish for a Brit on the tour!
