This first part of this interview focuses on Sascha’s accident in the Freeride World Tour last year and the life changing injuries he sustained, and his early years in snowboarding as well as his thoughts on avalanche safety. This second part looks at the wilderness years between his early snowboard career and his Freeride World Tour years. This is the part where he tried to be a Formula 1 driver, then set up his property business, before getting back into snowboarding, moving to Chamonix and trying to qualify for the Freeride World Tour.

Finally it looks to the future and whether Sascha will be snowboarding again and to what level. Would he like to try the Freeride World Tour again?
