Academy is a rider owned and operated, no gimmick snowboard company focused on making the best snowboards in the world. The brand was founded in 2002 by Jeff Baughn (JB), who still runs the company today with the help of co-owner, Chad Otterstrom. Academy are one of those brands that have been around for a long time and focused on grassroots snowboarding. Over the years the regional team has been home to many of today’s big name riders, including the likes of Scott Stevens, Chris Grenier, Nick Dirks, Danimals, Jonas Michilot, and Ethan Deiss.

For winter 18/19 all Academy Snowboards are being made in the USA by Never Summer Industries, the best snowboard factory in the world.
